The Star PGC28I Pro-Max 2.0? sandwich grill is equipped with a counterbalanced hinge system for simple use and good top-plate-to-bottom-plate food contact for even cooking. Designed to cook wraps, chicken, quesadillas, and more, it features three grooved cast iron plates—two on top and one on bottom—that retain heat after several uses. Able to operate in a 175- to 550-degree-Fahrenheit temperature range, the grill is good for back-to-back use due to its high conductivity. The 28-inch grill width works alongside a 3-inch flat landing opening to cook thick foods thoroughly in half the time. Its two top plates work independent of each other, as they have separate counterbalanced systems and handles; thus, different foods can be made at the same time to boost order output.

An analog temperature control on the Star PGC28I Pro-Max 2.0 sandwich press helps the operator ensure the correct temperature, preventing burns or undercooking. Also, two ergonomic handles encase the top plates for safe, easy opening and closing. The press's stainless steel body protects against corrosion, and its oil- and water-resistant conduit ensures safety for its electrical connections.
