The Star PGC28IT Pro-Max 2.0? sandwich grill features a 28-inch-long grooved cast iron bottom plate that works alongside two cast iron top plates for even cooking. These top plates are supported by a heavy-duty, counterbalanced hinge system for increased durability and independent cooking. Two handles are attached to the top plates for a simple opening and closing mechanism. Wraps, sandwiches, chicken, and steak are cooked evenly with mouthwatering grill marks from the plates' grooves. Heat loss is minimized by the cast iron's high conductivity, so the sandwich grill is great to cook back-to-back orders. With frequent reseasoning, the nonstick plates reduce unwanted food residue.

The Star PGC28IT Pro-Max 2.0 sandwich press contains an electronic timer and an analog thermostat to prevent undercooking and burning, so it's a good commercial tool to grill many products. Designed to last long, this unit's built-in conduit resists water and oil to protect electrical connections.
