The silver-colored Thunder Group SLFB006 fryer basket is constructed of wire mesh plated with nickel—great for cooking in a fryer. The bottom of the basket has cross supports that help the wire mesh keep its shape while still letting oil in to fry food. It has a front hook that can be hung on a basket lift to let excess oil drain off cooked food. With a 13¹/₄-inch diameter, this fryer basket can comfortably hold potatoes and fish until golden brown. The uncoated metal handle is 11 inches long by 1³/₄ inches wide, creating a safe distance between users and hot oil.
