Since this True STA1FPT-2HS-2HS-HC one-section pass-thru freezer has a top-mounted refrigeration system, it does not suck in dirt and debris from the floor. This system is also factory balanced to keep the cabinet at -10 degrees Fahrenheit. Keeping the unit cold, its self-contained capillary tube system holds and controls the flow of R404A refrigerant. To efficiently circulate air, the condenser and evaporator fan motors are electronically commutated, using less energy and creating less heat than traditional motors. This unit has an automatic defrost cycle that runs at a set time and stops when a specific temperature is reached. On the outside of the unit, the internal temperature is displayed in Fahrenheit or Celsius.

This True STA1FPT-2HS-2HS-HC one-section pass-thru freezer's whole exteriora€”as well as its interior ceiling and floora€”is made of stainless steel, which resists corrosion and cleans up quickly. The interior side walls and back are constructed of aluminum to resist scratches and dents, and all walls are insulated with Ecomate, which is a polyurethane foam. To provide the unit with movement, 5-inch-diameter castors are included. This unit has two half-doors that self-close and have magnetic gaskets to keep cold air inside. Doors are secured to the cabinet with four cam-lift hinges. To facilitate loading and unloading, these doors can stay open beyond 120 degrees. Metal handles help open the doors, while locks prevent theft.
