Temperatures in the True STA2RPT-4HS-2S-HC two-section reach-in refrigerator range from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit and are maintained by eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The operator can set the temperature on the electronic controller and monitor it on the external display. Circulating cold air in the cabinet, condenser and evaporator fans operate efficiently without producing a lot of hot air or using too much energy. Using a reverse condensing fan motor, the condensing coil is kept free of dust, debris, and dirt. It operates by reversing direction for 20 seconds each time the compressor cycles on. This feature doesn't replace the need for routine preventative maintenance.

The interior is accessible from the front and back since there are stainless steel doors on each side. These doors are solid, so they lose less cold air than glass doors but do not provide product visibility. With a self-closing design, the doors prevent cold air from escaping. They stay open past 120 degrees so operators can load product into the cabinet. Locks on the doors secure the stored products.

In the True STA2RPT-4HS-2S-HC two-section pass-thru refrigerator, six shelves hold products. They are chrome plated for durability, and the wire design encourages cold air flow for even cooling. Lighting in the unit enhances product visibility by brightening the cabinet. Constructed of stainless steel and aluminum, the interior is durable and corrosion resistant. The exterior is made of stainless steel, and foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation keeps cold air contained to the cabinet.
