The True STG2R-2HG/2HS-HC two-section refrigerator has a self-contained capillary tube system that holds and regulates R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. To consistently distribute air, its condenser and evaporator fan motors are electronically commutated, meaning they use less energy and create less heat than other motors. Its refrigeration system is mounted on the top to stay away from the food zone and collect less dirt and debris than a bottom-mounted unit. Setting the temperature is simple with the electronic controls.

This refrigerator has four Dutch doors with magnetic gaskets to prevent cold air from seeping out. The two top doors are made of low-e, double-pane glass, and the two bottom doors are made of solid stainless steel. The doors can stay open at 120 degrees to help with loading and unloading; but, when left open under 120 degrees, they close on their own. For a comfortable grip, metal handles are welded to the doors, and bolt locks ensure contents are not stolen.

To match the doors, this True STG2R-2HG/2HS-HC reach-in refrigerator's exterior sides are made of aluminum. Its interior back and sides are aluminum and its interior floor and ceiling are made of stainless steel. To hold temperatures ranging between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, its walls are foamed with Ecomate, a polyurethane insulation. Inside, six PVC-coated wire shelves support product. The freezer can be moved around with castors and secured in place since the front set has locks. LED lights brighten the interior, making it easy to find product. The temperature is shown on the outside in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
