The True STG3F-6HS-HC Spec Series® three-section reach-in freezer comes with nine PVC-coated wire shelves that enable air to flow through gaps and evenly cool stored items. In the cabinet, LED lighting shines to enhance visibility, and the unit's aluminum and stainless steel construction provides durability and simplifies cleaning. It has six solid half doors that release less cold air than full doors since they are smaller. The doors have a self-closing design and stay open past 120 degrees when employees are stocking the cabinet.

The refrigeration system in the True STG3F-6HS-HC three-section reach-in freezer is top mounted; this position increases interior space and prevents the components from pulling in floor debris. The system uses R290 refrigerant to hold the temperature at -10 degrees Fahrenheit. Users can monitor the temperature on the external display, ensuring the unit is operating at a safe level. Ice will build up on the evaporator, so an automatic defrost system melts the frost. These cycles begin with a timer and end when an ideal temperature is reached.
