Using environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant, the True STR1F-1G-HC Spec Series® single-section reach-in freezer stays at -10 degrees Fahrenheit. The refrigeration system is top mounted, so it takes in less debris than bottom-mounted systems, which sit near the floor. However, this location can be difficult to access for maintenance. Employees can ensure the temperature in the freezer is ideal by monitoring it on the external display.

For 20 seconds after the condensing fan motor turns on, it blows in reverse to remove excess dirt, dust, and debris from the coil. Regular cleaning this part reduces the refrigeration system's energy consumption and ensures operation is efficient. It also helps the system maintain the coldest temperatures to maintain product freshness for as long as possible. While this self-cleaning feature doesn't take the place of routine maintenance recommendations, it does increase the unit's lifespan.

LED lights shine on product stored in the True STR1F-1G-HC one-section reach-in freezer, ensuring users can see the items through the triple-pane glass door. This door stays open past 120 degrees and has a self-closing design that keeps cold air contained. A lock on the door prevents unauthorized users from tampering with stored product. Since the unit is constructed of stainless steel, it is durable and can be cleaned up quickly.
