The True STR3F-6HS-HC Spec Series® three-section reach-in freezer operates at -10 degrees Fahrenheit, which is digitally displayed on the exterior in Fahrenheit or Celsius, so operators can keep an eye on it. Since the refrigeration system is mounted on the top, it does not run near floor debris and dust. This placement maximizes cabinet space, though it does operate in a warmer area of the kitchen than bottom-mounted units. An automatic defrost system melts ice that builds up on components, with cycles running on a timer and concluding when the temperature is back to an ideal level.

Chrome, adjustable shelves in the True STR3F-6HS-HC three-section reach-in freezer hold stored items and have a wire design that encourages even airflow. LED lights in the refrigerator provide visibility.
