The True TUC-93D-4-HC undercounter refrigerator is made of stainless steel with a GalFan-coated, steel back and a clear-coated, aluminum liner. The cabinet, door, and drawers are insulated with polyurethane, containing zero ozone depletion and zero global warming potential. The self-contained, capillary tube system€”which uses R134A refrigerant€”and the extra-large evaporator coil maintain a user-designated temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. With its high-horsepower compressor and large condenser, the refrigeration system delivers guided airflow for uniform temperatures. The epoxy-coated evaporator has a self-lubricating, cast iron fan motor with large blades to provide a low-velocity, high-volume airflow. This refrigerator has fast temperature recovery and short run time, making it ideal for heavy use.

When the compressor cycles on, its condensing fan motor blows in an opposite direction for a 20 second period; this helps remove settled dust and debris from the condensing coil. Though this self-cleaning feature helps improve coil performance, regular preventive maintenance is still necessary to ensure the coil is operating correctly. 

The doors on the True TUC-93D-4-HC refrigerator swing within the cabinet dimensions and are fitted with 12-inch-long, recessed handles with sheet metal interlocks. The magnetic gaskets and stainless steel slides and rollers are removable without tools for swift maintenance. Each drawer accommodates small food pans or two 12-inch by 20-inch by 8-inch food pans, which are sold separately. This unit also includes two PVC-coated, wire shelves that each include four chrome-plated shelf clips and are adjustable in ¹/₂-inch increments.
