Built with two high-capacity drawers, the Turbo Air TCBE-48SDR-E-N Super Deluxe chef base is designed to support efficient cold storage and heavy countertop cooking equipment. Each drawer accommodates two full-size and three ¹/₆-size pans up to 6 inches deep (pans not included), while recessed handles support smooth operation. The reinforced one-piece stainless steel top is insulated to reduce heat transfer and can hold up to 788 pounds of equipment. This unit is mounted on 4-inch swivel casters for mobility.

Designed with a front-breathing, side-mounted refrigeration system, the Turbo Air TCBE-48SDR-E-N chef base operates between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit using eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. A self-cleaning condenser automatically brushes dust from the coil to maintain consistent performance. The cabinet is insulated with high-density foamed-in-place polyurethane and includes an anti-corrosion coated evaporator to extend system life. A front digital temperature display provides a quick visual reference for monitoring internal conditions.
