To promote eco-friendliness, the Turbo Air TWF-28SD-N work top freezer runs on R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. This unit's interior and exterior are constructed of stainless steel to simplify cleaning and enhance durability, and it's designed with a galvanized steel back and base. For safe, direct food contact, the shelf also is made of stainless steel; unlike PVC-coated wire shelves, this doesn't risk peeling or rusting over time. With the work top freezer's ergonomically designed door, employee fatigue is lowered, and the door self-closes to preserve product. For thermal efficiency and good resistance to water condensation, the door has ABS sheet liner.

High-density polyurethane insulation foams the Turbo Air TWF-28SD-N Super Deluxe work top freezer's cabinet structure and solid door in place; one-piece, magnetic door gaskets can be removed without tools to facilitate cleaning and replacement. For optimal product visibility, this unit has LED interior lighting, while operators can control its fan. This freezer preserves frozen food between -10 and 0 degrees Fahrenheit. It has 7 cubic feet of interior space and its overall dimensions are 27¹/₂ inches wide, 31 inches deep, and 38¹/₂ inches high.
