This dolly has a plastic coating to protect dishes to protect dishes from chipping. The base is constructed of non-corrosive, hi-tensile aluminum with a cross brace for add strength. The wide track 5" casters provide stability during transport. The dolly comes with brakes to hold in place while loading and unloading.
