The Vulcan 1036 cheese melter can be used to melt cheese on finished sandwiches, toast bread, or caramelize desserts. When product is placed on the rack, the unit heats automatically using quartz infrared elements for effective, even heat distribution. A red indicator light alerts users that the unit is in operation, and it can be powered down when not in use with the on/off switch. To facilitate cleaning beneath the unit, it's elevated on adjustable, 4-inch legs.
Being a countertop model, the Vulcan 1036 cheese melter measures 36 1/2 inches wide by 17 1/8 inches deep by 19 1/2 inches high. It features a fan-cooled electrical compartment, and its top, sides, and back are insulated to preserve heat. To accommodate different products, the rack can be adjusted to four positions.
