To diversify the tasks that can be performed on the Vulcan 48C-4B24G Endurance® restaurant range, it's built with four open-top burners, a 24-inch-wide griddle, and a convection oven; altogether, these components output 195,000 BTUs per hour. This fully MIG-welded unit measures 48 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 58 inches high, and its front, sides, and backriser are made of durable rust-, corrosion-, and wear-resistant stainless steel to withstand rigorous back-of-house use. The oven's porcelain base and door panels withstand exposure to high heat and ease cleaning between uses. So ingredients and supplies are within close reach, they can be stored on the lift-off high shelf. To ensure it's level on irregular flooring, it rests on 6-inch stainless steel legs that can be raised or lowered.

On the range's left side, four burners feature heavy-duty, lift-off cast grates. While the front grates measure 12 inches by 12 1/2 inches, the rear grates measure 12 inches by 14 1/2 inches to accommodate stock pots or large saucepans. To deliver a consistent, even flame, aeration bowls are built into the grates. The two shrouded flashtube pilot systems reduce the risk of the flame blowing out during use for reliability. On the range's right side, the 24-inch-wide griddle can be used to saute vegetables and grill proteins. Its 3/4-inch-thick griddle plate retains heat to reduce lag times when reheating the surface for consecutive use. Staff can modify heat with the cool-to-the touch controls, and to protect adjacent surfaces from popping oil, it's encased with two side splash guards and a backriser. While the 4-inch-wide grease trough collects residual grease, the extra-deep crumb tray contains food debris and can be pulled out for thorough cleaning between uses.

The Vulcan 48C-4B24G restaurant range's convection oven uses radiant heat and fans to circulate heat and quickly cook dishes. To accommodate a range of baking requirements, operators can set interior temperature from 250 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit or initiate the low-temperature setting. Its 26 3/8-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep by 13 7/8-inch-tall interior cavity fits full-size sheet pans placed side by side on its two oven racks. Two rack guide secure the racks in place and can be placed in one of four positions to achieve various results. So users can easily insert and retrieve pans, the door has a spring hinge which eliminates adjustment requirements.
