Vulcan 48S-2B36GT 48" 2 Burner Gas Range W/ Griddle & Standard Oven, Natural Gas
The Vulcan 48S-2B36GT NG Endurance® restaurant range features a 48-inch-wide top section with two open-top burners on the left side and a 36-inch-wide griddle on the right side. Rather than using separate pilot lights for the two burners, a single shrouded pilot system controls both burners to conserve energy. Operators can adjust each burner's heat with the cool-to-the-touch knobs to achieve a simmer or boil. The front cast grate measures 12 inches by 12 1/2 inches, while the rear grate is 12 inches by 14 1/2 inches. For efficiency, the burners' cast grates are built with aeration bowls.
The griddle's smooth, flat 3/4-inch-thick surface heats evenly and is durable enough to withstand repeated heating and cooling, and because it has corresponding thermostatic controls, operators can set the surface to specific temperatures. To reduce the chance of oil popping onto other surfaces, it features two side splash guards and a backriser. Staff can pull out the crumb tray and extract grease from the front-mounted grease trough to clean beneath the burners and remove residual oil.
To accommodate broiling, roasting, or baking needs, the range's standard oven base can be set from 250 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit or simply set at low heat. Because its interior measures 26 3/8 inches wide by 27 inches deep by 14 inches high, full-size pans can be inserted front to back or side to side for flexibility. The two included oven racks can be set in four different positions, and to easily access the interior, the oven door is hinged. To enhance user safety, its door handle remains cool through use. Because its door panel and base are made of porcelain, it withstands exposure to high heat and is simple to wipe clean.
The Vulcan 48S-2B36GT NG natural-gas-powered range outputs a total of 155,000 BTUs and includes a 1-inch rear gas connection, rear manifold, and pressure regulator. For long-term resiliency and rust and corrosion resistance, its front, sides, backriser, and lift-off high shelf are stainless steel. Its chassis is fully MIG welded to add strength during daily use, and to reduce the chance of wobbling or rocking on irregular flooring, this unit is mounted on 6-inch-tall stainless steel legs that can be raised or lowered as needed on uneven surfaces.
