It's built with eight open-top burners covered by heavy-duty grates, a 24-inch-wide griddle, and two convection ovens capable of supporting a variety of cooking applications. The burner's control knobs remain cool to the touch to increase comfort and reduce injury risks. To streamline thorough cleaning, this unit is equipped with an extra-deep pull-out crumb tray as well as a 4-inch-wide grease trough.

To survive heavy-duty use in high-capacity kitchens, the Vulcan 72CC-8B24G commercial range's sides, front, backriser, high shelf, and legs are constructed of rugged, corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Its 6-inch legs can be adjusted to accommodate rough or uneven flooring, and each of its ovens has a baker's-depth cavity and accommodates 18-inch by 26-inch pans side to side. These ovens' temperatures can be adjusted from 250 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit or set to the low-heat option for holding.
