The Vulcan 72SC-8B24G gas range is powered by propane and has eight 30,000 BTU open top burners. Since the burners have lift-off heads, they are easy to access for servicing and cleanup. For every pilot, there are two burners with the shrouded flash tube pilot system, reducing the flow of gas to save energy. The front grates measure 12 inches by 12 1/2 inches and lift off so you can clean underneath. Stock pots and large pans fit on the rear grates since they measure 12 inches by 14 1/2 inches. The gratesa€™ fingers are supported by aeration bowls, which also direct heat toward pots and pans. There is also a 24-inch griddle plate for preparing pancakes, burgers, and more.

In the base of the Vulcan 72SC-8B24G gas range, there is a standard oven and a convection oven. Each ovena€™s temperature can be adjusted from 250 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Full-size pans fit in both the oven cavities from side to side. The standard oven has a porcelain bottom and door panel, making the interior simple to clean. There are two racks, two rack guide sets, and four rack position options in the standard oven, while the convection oven has three racks. The handles on the heavy-duty doors keep cool to reduce the risk of injury.
