A countertop design ensures this griddle can be placed in numerous locations around the kitchen. The front, sides, and front top ledge on the unit are made of durable stainless steel, and this griddle features two u-shaped burners for multiple cook zones controlled by a snap-action thermostat. These burners distribute even temperature across the 1-inch thick steel griddle plate.

A wraparound splatter guard on the Vulcan 924RX countertop griddle contains grease during cooking to minimize messes. The tapered side splatter guards provide access to the griddle plate, while the grease gutter on the griddle provides clearance to enable a spatula to simply scrape excess grease. Excess grease is safely contained in a 6-quart stainless steel grease drawer, and 4-inch legs on the bottom of the griddle are adjustable to provide stability on uneven surfaces.
