The Vulcan 924RX-30 gas griddle has a pilot safety valve that shuts gas off if the pilot light extinguishes, preventing gas from leaking into the air. It has two cooking zones with embedded mechanical snap-action thermostats that offer individual controls for every 12 inches of plate width. This unit's temperature can be adjusted from 200 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit to cook a wide range of product. To provide quick recovery times, the griddle plate is made of 1-inch-thick steel.

To protect users from injury, the Vulcan 924RX-30 countertop griddle has a bull-nose edge that provides space between the operator and the hot surface. Keeping the surrounding area clean, this unit is equipped with a 4-inch backsplash and tapered side splashes, and it has a grease trough that captures debris and food particles. Positioned on 4-inch adjustable legs, it can be stabilized on uneven surfaces to prevent it from wobbling.
