Vulcan 972RX 72" Gas Griddle W/ Thermostatic Controls - 1" Steel Plate, Natural Gas
The Vulcan 972RX gas griddle is 72 inches wide and has six thermostats that each control a U-shaped, aluminized steel burner. The snap-action thermostats are front mounted and protected from accidental impacts with chromed guards. Able to reach temperatures from 200 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit, the griddle is useful for cooking eggs, bacon, sausages, hamburgers and chicken.
Preventing gas leaks and reducing fire risks, the Vulcan 972RX gas griddle has a built-in pilot safety valve that blocks the flow of gas if the pilot light is extinguished. To reduce burns when cooking, the griddlea€™s front bull-nose design stays cool to the touch and has a 3 1/2-inch-wide grease channel that directs hot oil into the grease drawer. To prevent leaks, the grease chute and gutter are fully welded, as is the unita€™s stainless and aluminized steel chassis frame.
