Ideal for high-volume grilling, the Vulcan HEG36E HEG-E Series heavy-duty electric griddle uses incoloy heating elements to heat its flat stainless steel surface between 200 and 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Its 1/2-inch-thick steel plate construction increases high-heat contact for quick recovery times on its 36-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep griddle plate. Equipped with a snap-action thermostat and a cycling light for every 12 inches of griddle width, this unit enables different foods to be cooked at one time on the same surface. Chrome thermostat knob guards help protect against accidental temperature adjustments. To change temperatures, users simply reach around the guards.

The Vulcan HEG36E heavy-duty electric griddle is designed to sit on countertops. It has four adjustable legs and an 11-inch-tall cooking height overall. Rear and side splash guards line the perimeter of the griddle plate, containing hot oil and grease from spilling over the sides. Instead, grease is directed toward a 3 1/2-inch-wide grease trough, which empties into a 1.5-gallon removable grease drawer for quick cleanup. This griddle's front, sides, and legs are made of durable stainless steel designed to withstand common kitchen wear, making it a long-lasting piece of equipment.
