By using three snap-action thermostats and cycling lightsa€”one for each 12-inch griddle sectiona€”operators can control portions of the griddle plate for best cooking results. After setting the temperature on the thermostats, which adjust from 200 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, two sheathed, tubular incoloy heating elements warm the griddle as directed. Chrome heavy-duty knob guards protect thermostat controls from tampering or accidental adjustments.
