It has a snap-action thermostat and cycling light for every 12-inch section, so users can input different temperatures for separate portions of the griddle. Heated by two sheathed incoloy warming elements, the griddle's 1/2-inch-thick steel plate gets hot quickly, which is ideal for sporadic use. The four thermostats have a versatile temperature range between 200 and 450 degrees Fahrenheit, and their controls are protected by chrome thermostat knob guards.

The Vulcan HEG48E commercial griddle's stainless steel construction is durable enough to withstand long durations of daily use. It's designed to sit on countertops and can be adjusted with its four 4-inch-tall legs to fit any kitchen environment. Equipped with rear and side splash guards, this griddle protects countertops from oil and hot grease spilling over the unit's sides. Instead, grease drains into the grease trough and the grease drawer for proper cleanup.
