The Vulcan HEG48E HEG-E Series heavy-duty electric griddle fits on a countertop for versatile cooking. Able to adjust on its 4-inch-tall legs, the griddle is made of durable stainless steel to thrive in humid, bustling kitchen environments. Its 48-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep griddle plate has a 1/2-inch-thick steel cooking surface that gets as hot as 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Snap-action thermostatic controls line the front of the griddle, separately heating four 12-inch-wide sections for independent cooking results. This griddle's plate is heated with two incoloy heating elements, and a cycling light is located beside each thermostat to alert the operator when the surface is hot.
Grease stays contained on top of the Vulcan HEG48E commercial griddle with a 4-inch-tall rear splash guard and two tapered side splash guards. Excess fat and oil drain into a grease trough located at the front of the griddle, and the grease drawera€”located below the trougha€”collects as much as 1.5 gallons of grease. The griddle's smooth surface is easy to wipe down, making it a low-maintenance, long-lasting item.
