The Vulcan HEG60E HEG-E Series heavy-duty electric griddle's 60-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep griddle plate works best in high-traffic restaurants. Able to get as hot as 450 degrees Fahrenheit with two solid, sheathed, tubular incoloy heating elements, its 3/4-inch-thick steel plate warms quickly and resists warping after consistent heating and reheating. Every 12-inch section of the griddle has a correlating snap-action thermostat and cycle light for independent controls, meaning different foods can be cooked on the same surface simultaneously. This griddle is lifted by four adjustable legs and is designed to be placed on a countertop.

Rear and tapered splash guards line the perimeter of the Vulcan HEG60E electric griddle to prevent hot oil and grease from splashing onto the user or nearby countertops. Once grease collects in a single space, it drains down the 3 1/2-inch-wide grease trough and into two grease drawers located underneath the griddle. Holding 1.5 gallons each, the heavy-duty grease drawers minimize cleaning and maintenance. The griddle's stainless steel construction is durable enough to endure standard wear and smooth enough for quick cleanup, ensuring a sanitized workstation.
