Measuring 72 inches wide by 31 1/2 inches deep by 15 3/10 inches high, the Vulcan HEG72E HEG-E Series heavy-duty electric griddle uses six snap-action thermostatic controls for individualized heating. Each thermostat is designed to warm a 12-inch section of the griddle, making it ideal for high-traffic restaurants that need to cook multiple foods at once. Tubular incoloy elements work with the thermostats to heat the griddle's 3/4-inch-thick surface, which is 72 inches wide and 24 inches deep. Because its surface is thicker than other models, it helps defend against warping that can occur when a thin surface is constantly reheated. The griddle is made to sit on top of a counter, and it has four adjustable legs that are modifiable to suit most kitchen settings.

The Vulcan HEG72E commercial griddle is made of durable stainless steel to thrive in kitchen environments, resisting daily wear and providing a solid structure for long durations of cooking. It has three built-in splash guardsa€”a 4-inch-tall rear splash guard and two tapered side splash guardsa€”to contain hot oil and grease within the splash guard barriers. From there, grease drains swiftly down the 3 1/2-inch-wide grease trough and into the two grease drawers that have a combined capacity of 3 gallons.
