The Vulcan HEG72E HEG-E Series heavy-duty electric griddle's 72-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep griddle plate cooks several foods at different temperatures for versatile cooking. Heated with two incoloy elements, the griddle has six snap-action thermostatic controls that each warm a 12-inch section of the unit for individualized results. A cycling light is included beside each control to alert which griddle sections are hot. Its steel griddle plate is 3/4 inches thick, and this thickness provides an advantage since it's less likely to become warped from reheating than thin plates. This griddle has a temperature range between 200 and 450 degrees Fahrenheit to assist in various cooking styles, from simple reheating to grilling.

Adjustable legs lift the Vulcan HEG72E commercial griddle a maximum of four inches above the countertop for increased sanitation and airflow. The unit's stainless steel construction is durable, low maintenance, and easy to clean due to its built-in components. A grease trough and two grease drawers collect grease during cooking. By removing, cleaning, and reinserting the drawers, maintenance needs are streamlined. This griddle's three splash guards also keep hot oil from splashing over the sides of the unit and direct grease into the trough for proper removal.
