Ideal for serving large cafeterias, the Vulcan K60GL floor model steam kettle has a 60-gallon capacity that makes (1,920) 4-ounce portions. When filling the kettle with product, employees can read the embossed gallon and liter markings to determine the fill level and ensure the correct amount. Once ready, employees can set the kettle to warm, simmer, or boil. The water in the steam jacket heats up and cooks the food efficiently.

Because the interior is stainless steel, it resists rust, so even tomato-based or salty dishes can be prepared in the kettle. Once the food is ready, employees can open the draw-off valve and transfer contents into separate containers. These containers can be moved straight to the serving area or cooled and put into storage. To separate solids from liquids, a strainer is provided. This Vulcan K60GL steam kettle has flanged feet that can be bolted to the floor for stability, and if a faucet is mounted to it, water can be poured directly into the kettle.
