Because the Vulcan V4B24B heavy-duty range is built with four 35,000-BTU open burners, chefs can saute, fry, sear, or steam different dishes at once. Each burner has a corresponding pilot light and control for quick heat adjustment. For enhanced efficiency, the burners include heavy-duty cast aeration bowls with cast top grates. To accommodate various pots and pans, the two front grates measure 11 1/2 inches by 11 1/2 inches, while the two rear grates measure 11 1/2 inches by 14 inches. To facilitate thorough cleaning, these grates can be removed.

The Vulcan V4B24B natural-gas-powered range features a cabinet base with one removable shelf and universal rack guides to accommodate frequently used items, and to secure stored contents in place, a stainless steel door encloses the base. This 24-inch-wide by 36 3/4-inch-deep by 36-inch-tall unit's front, plate ledge, front top ledge, sides, base, and stub back are made of stainless steel for long-term durability and resistance to rust and corrosion. To reduce the chance of wobbling or rocking during use, it rests on 6-inch stainless steel legs that can be raised or lowered as needed on uneven surfaces.
