To save space and enhance convenience, the Vulcan V4B36B heavy-duty gas range is a 36-inch-wide by 36 3/4-inch-deep by 36-inch-tall unit built with four open-top burners and a cabinet base. Its front, front top ledge, burner box, sides, base, and stub back are made of durable, rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel capable of surviving demanding back-of-house settings. To keep spices, oil, cooking utensils, and supplies within reach, the cabinet base includes one removable shelf that's adjustable on the universal rack guides. For a clean, concealed appearance, a stainless steel door encases the cabinet. Its 6-inch-tall legs can be raised or lowered to level the unit on irregular or sloped flooring.

The Vulcan V4B36B V series range is powered by natural gas and outputs 140,000 BTUs per hour. Its four burners have individual pilot lights and controls so staff can adjust the burners' heat independently. For efficiency, the burners feature heavy-duty aeration bowls and open-top cast grates. To accommodate different cookware, the two rear grates each measure 14 inches by 17 inches, while the two front grates are 11 inches by 17 inches. To ease cleaning, the grates can be removed, while the stainless steel crumb tray can be pulled out.
