The Vulcan V4B36B heavy-duty gas range's four open-top burners are powered by natural gas and can output 140,000 BTUs per hour. Each 35,000-BTU burner has a corresponding pilot light and control so staff can adjust the burner's heat for boiling, simmering, sauteing, or frying various ingredients. While the two front burners are equipped with 11-inch by 17-inch grates, the two rear burners include 14-inch by 17-inch grates to accommodate large pots or pans. To simplify cleaning, the grates can be removed, and the stainless steel crumb tray pulled out.

For convenience, the Vulcan V4B36B natural-gas-powered range's cabinet base includes a removable shelf that can accommodate oil, spices, utensils, or other supplies. To fit large products, the shelf can be raised or lowered on the universal rack guides. This two-in-one unit measures 36 inches wide by 36 3/4 inches deep by 36 inches high to fit kitchens with limited space. To prolong service life in fast-paced kitchens, its front, front top ledge, burner box, sides, base, and stub back are made of stainless steel, For a uniform appearance, this durable, rust- and corrosion-resistant metal complements other pieces of equipment.
