Equipped with computer controls to gauge temperatures and program as many as 100 menu selections, the Vulcan VC44GC double-deck gas convection oven is geared for high-volume use. The controls include a 99-hour timer with an audible alarm to alert operators when preheating is finished or food has been cooked; it also has a roast-and-hold cycle to maintain temperatures for a long period. Its two-section design enables users to cook various foods at one time. Each oven measures 29 inches wide by 22 1/8 inches deep by 20 inches high, and five nickel-plated oven racks are integrated in each oven. For efficiency, a 50,000-BTU burner is implemented in each oven.

The Vulcan VC44GC gas convection oven enables users to access product easily via independently operated doors, which also reduce heat loss. Users can peer into the oven through double-pane windows built into the doors, and two interior oven lights help users see how cooking is progressing. To endure common wear, its front, sides, top, and legs are made of stainless steel. Inside the oven, a smooth porcelain enamel can be wiped down to maintain a clean unit.
