The Vulcan VC6EC single electric convection oven features a digital time and temperature readout and computer controls. To repeat recipes that are frequently used, as many as 100 menu options can be programmed into the system. A 99-hour timer counts down until food is ready, and an alarm audibly sounds when the timer reaches zero to alert employees that food is complete. Inside the cabinet, it comes with five nickel-plated racks that can be adjusted in 11 positions for versatile use. Because the deck is a bakery-depth chamber, it can hold full-size pans side to side or front to back.

To reduce the risk of burns, the Vulcan VC6EC full-size convection oven has a rapid cool-down switch. The interior is lined with porcelain so it can be wiped clean after use, and the exterior is constructed of resilient stainless steel to resist rust, corrosion, warping, and denting. Lights in the cabinet illuminate food as it cooks, and windows in the independent doors enable monitoring.
