Heated with two atmospheric burners, the Vulcan VCCG24-AR VCCG Series heavy-duty gas griddle independently warms 12-inch-wide griddle sections on it 24-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep cooking plate to simultaneously accommodate differing cooking needs. Its 1-inch-thick chrome plate can heat between 200 and 550 degrees Fahrenheit, and it's less likely to warp over time than thin griddle plates, making it a long-lasting piece of equipment that can withstand high-volume use. A solid-state thermostat and electronic ignition system work in tandem to keep the burners heated, while a pilot safety system ensures the burners are working properly. Knob guards shield the temperature controls to protect against tampering.
The Vulcan VCCG24-AR gas griddle is made primarily of stainless steel to endure daily wear, and its silver material hides scuffs and scratches for improved presentability over time. Splash guards line the perimeter of its sides and rear to contain hot grease and oil, and they streamline grease removal into the 6-quart stainless steel grease drawer. This griddle is designed to fit on a countertop, and its legs are adjustable to accommodate overhead storage needs. Overall, it has a 14.7-inch-high cooking height. To ensure a clean cooking surface over time, the griddle comes with a palmetto brush, scraper, and blade.
