The Vulcan VCCG60-IR countertop griddle has a 1-inch-thick chrome plate that retains heat and distributes it evenly for uniform cooking results. With five burners and solid-state thermostats placed every 12 inches, this unit has five cooking zones. Knobs on the front enable temperature adjustment and have wire guards that prevent users from accidentally bumping into them and changing the settings. This unit has a temperature range of 200 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit.

To facilitate cleaning, a grease trough in the front of the Vulcan VCCG60-IR gas griddle guides crumbs and oil into two grease drawers. Because this unit sits on a countertop, it has 4-inch legs that can be adjusted to clean underneath it, while the back and sides have 4-inch guards that prevent splatter from hitting the walls and surrounding equipment during cooking.
