The Vulcan VCCG72-AS countertop griddle has a 72-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep cooking zone with six burners. Solid-state thermostatic controls enable temperature adjustment from 200 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit and are spaced 12 inches apart to create six cooking zones. To prevent accidental temperature changes, the knobs are protected with wire guards, while a front-mounted grease trough keeps messes off the countertop by guiding runoff into the two grease drawers.
Cooking foods evenly, the Vulcan VCCG72-AS gas griddle has a 1-inch-thick steel griddle plate that uniformly distributes heat, retains heat, and recovers temperatures quickly. The rear of the unit has a 4-inch backsplash that keeps messes off the wall, while tapered side splashes further contain splatter to keep surrounding equipment clean. Positioned on 4-inch legs, the griddle can be adjusted to enable cleaning underneath it. Overall, it measures 72 inches wide by 33 1/10 inches deep by 18 4/5 inches high.
