Taking up minimal space in a busy environment, the Vulcan VCCG72-IS commercial griddle is designed for countertop use. To facilitate cleaning, it has a grease trough and two grease drawers, while a 4-inch backsplash with tapered side splashes prevent messes from splattering the unit's surroundings. If employees need to clean underneath the unit, they can adjust the 4-inch legs for access; adjusting the legs can also help stabilize the griddle on uneven surfaces. Overall, it measures 72 inches wide by 33 1/10 inches deep by 18 4/5 inches high.
Made of steel, the Vulcan VCCG72-IS gas griddle's plate is 1 inch thick to help it distribute heat for uniform cooking. The temperature can be adjusted from 200 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit, and its solid-state thermostats are positioned every 12 inches to create six cooking zones. To prevent unwanted temperature changes if an employee bumps into the controls, the knobs are protected with wire guards.
