Vulcan VG30 30 Gal. Tilt Skillet - Open Base, Includes Faucet, Strainer, Liquid Propane
The front, back, and sides of the Vulcan VG30 tilt skillet are constructed of stainless steel to enhance durability and resist corrosion. Its 12-inch legs are equipped with adjustable flanged feet, and the front-hinged polished stainless steel pan body resists dents and dings. The pan body contains coved interior corners, as well as embossed gallon markings. A steel plate is bonded to the stainless steel cooking surface, and the full-width, 4-inch return flange is equipped with a formed pouring lip and removable strainer.
This unit's stainless steel, spring-assisted cover is constructed with a wraparound, cool-to-the-touch handle, along with a condensate lip that directs moisture back to the food. Vented cooking is encouraged by a lid that holds its position, and the non-enclosed faucet mounting bracket is field reversible with an L-bracket on either side. A drop-away food receiving pan support is mounted under the pouring lip, and the manually operated anti-jam pan tilting mechanism is equipped with a removable handle. It can perform various tasks for cooking by emulating the performance of pressureless steamers and steam-jacketed kettles.
The Vulcan VG30 braising pan can be tilted to completely empty its contents in approximately 30 crank revolutions, and when the pan is tilted 5 degrees, the burners shut off for operator safety. This unit's electronic ignition system provides automatic burner lighting and comes with a combination gas valve and built-in regulator. Its solid-state temperature controls are adjustable, ranging from 50 to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. The skillet is equipped with watertight enclosures and controls.
