The Vulcan VICM60 gas infrared cheese melter includes two pre-mix atmospheric infrared burners to heat cheese-based dishes evenly, brown foods, and hold product at a desired temperature. Each 20,000-BTU burner is heated with LP gas and the standing pilot ignition system is easy to access to start the unit. The unit's interior, which measures 58 1/5 inches wide by 15 2/25 inches deep by 10 1/5 inches high, is equipped with a chrome-plated grid that supports foods. Its open wire construction encourages hot air to move freely around product, improving heating. The grid also can be adjusted into three different positions by being raised or lowered.

To endure common wear from loading and unloading product, the Vulcan VICM60 cheese melter's front, top, bottom, and sides are made of stainless steel. Its chassis also has a welded design constructed of stainless and aluminized steel for stability throughout use. Users can remove the two spillage pans that collect crumbs, oil, and food particles beneath the grid for dumping and deep cleaning. Measuring 60 inches wide by 18 61/100 inches deep by 23 3/100 inches overall, it's safe to fasten to a wall with the included mounting brackets.
