The Vulcan VICM60 gas infrared cheese melter can be attached to the wall with its included wall-mount panel, increasing counterspace. Externally measuring 48 inches wide by 18 61/100 inches deep by 23 3/100 inches high, it has a stainless steel top, front, bottom, and sides to withstand common wear from daily heavy use. Its welded chassis also has a stainless and aluminized steel construction, ensuring a sturdy base throughout operation.

Inside the Vulcan VICM60 cheese melter, a chrome-plated grid rack can hold several foods at a time and be raised or lowered in three different positions to achieve desired results. Its open wire setup helps air move evenly around product, reducing the risk of partial heating in some areas. Using natural gas, two pre-mix atmospheric infrared burners warm the unit; they're ignited easily using the standing pilot system. Spillage pans beneath the rack catch leftover crumbs, used oil, and food particles; they can be dumped and cleaned after use.
