The bottom deck of the Vulcan VIR1CF infrared upright broiler is equipped with a convection oven to finish broiling operations. It measures 27 inches wide by 27 inches deep by 13 inches high; its bottom, side, and interior door panel are made of porcelain. Its thermostat can be adjusted from 175 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate different cooking methods. The broiler cooking grid, which sits on top of the oven, measures 25 1/2 inches wide by 24 1/2 inches deep. Its spring-balanced design can be raised or lowered into five different positions to achieve specific results.
Heated with natural gas, the Vulcan VIR1CF upright broiler includes four 25,000-BTU infrared burners to heat the broiler section. The cooking grid's open construction moves air through its openings freely to cook foods uniformly. Its cold-rolled steel bars also create presentable grill marks. The unit's front, front top ledge, sides, base, and finishing oven are made of stainless steel and supported by 6-inch stainless steel legs. Overall, it has a 36-inch-wide by 42 5/8-inch-deep by 77 1/8-inch-high structure.
