To contain messes, the Vulcan VST4B chophouse broiler is equipped with 2-inch side and backsplashes. Crumbs and debris are captured with a grease trough mounted in the front. Saving energy, the outer and inner walls are insulated, reducing the amount of heat lost. Items can be stored on the unit's undershelf, and to enable mobility, the broiler is positioned on 6-inch casters. This unit is operated with a standing pilot ignition, and the temperature can be adjusted with infinite heat controls.

The Vulcan VST4B broiler with over-fired deck is made of stainless steela€”a durable material that's resistant to rust and corrosion. Its broiler grid can be adjusted in four positions to accommodate a range of foods. For high-heat use, the cooking grid reaches temperatures as high as 950 degrees Fahrenheit, and the griddle can be used at a level as high as 650 degrees Fahrenheit. Heating up rapidly for high-volume use, the griddle plate is 1/2 an inch thick.
