The Wells MOD-400TDM drop-in hot food well accommodates four food pans and can be used for wet or dry applications. After using water to heat food, operators can conveniently empty it using the included drain. To make sure the unit doesn't corrode after extensive wet use, the interior is made of stainless steel, and for additional durability, the housing is made of aluminum steel, which is insulated to save energy.

To prevent overheating and damage to the tubular elements, the Wells MOD-400TDM drop-in hot food well has a high-limit control that shuts off power when temperatures reach a dangerous height. Each food pan has individual controls so users can cook a variety of food at different temperatures. The control panel is located in the front, and because it is made of one piece, it can be wiped clean.
