Built with an air-cooled, self-contained refrigeration system, the Wells RCP-7500 cold well can hold prechilled food pans at safe serving temperatures on food bars and buffet tables. This unit uses R-404A refrigerant and features wrapped refrigeration coils along its base and sides for uniform temperature distribution. As menus change, staff can adjust each pan section's temperature with the corresponding thermostatic controls, and to minimize temperature fluctuations in warm environments, it's foamed in place with CFC-free insulation. Operators can perform maintenance with ease as this unit includes a sight glass, service valves, dryer/filter, receiver, and removable condensing unit.

To secure five full-size food pans in place and uphold NSF-7 requirements, the Wells RCP-7500 refrigerated drop-in cold well boasts a 68³/₄-inch-wide by 21⁷/₈-inch-deep interior with a 3-inch recessed top edge. While its top flange and interior are made of 18-gauge stainless steel, its exterior is made of heavy-gauge steel; both metals provide lasting durability and the rust and corrosion resistance needed to withstand high-volume use. For a cohesive look alongside other food wells, this 74-inch-wide by 27¹/₈-inch-deep by 26¹/₈-inch-tall unit can be dropped in a 72³/₄-inch-wide by 25⁷/₈-inch-deep cutout. For simple cleanup between uses, residue can be expelled through the 1-inch drains.
