This knife style is ideal for slicing, dicing, and mincing, and the side-mounted, hollow-ground ovals enable juices, fats, and air to lubricate the blade for smooth slicing; this design also prevents vegetables from sticking to the sides during cutting. Strong and rust resistant, the blade is made of high-carbon steel. The handle is constructed of soft, nonslip rubber and contoured for comfortable movement.
